Quenna Lené Barrett is a Chicago-based performer, director, educator, facilitator, and writer. Quenna is an Associate Professor of Applied Theatre at Governors State University. She has worked with numerous organizations including Rivendell, Paramount Theatre, NYU, Chicago Children’s Theatre, Sojourn Theatre Company, Goodman, The Theatre School at DePaul, Free Street, Chicago Parks District, Pegasus, Court, eta, Theater Unspeakable, and For Youth Inquiry performance company. Quenna received her BFA from NYU Tisch in Drama, her MA in Applied Theatre from the University of Southern California, and Doctorate of Education (EdD) in Educational Theatre from NYU Steinhardt. quennalene.com
